The VCS, Chamber of Commerce & Bishop Grosseteste University would like to invite you to the first networking event for leaders in the 3rd Sector*. The intention of the event is to provide time and space to network with others in the sector, to discuss common needs & challenges across the sector & to co-create possible solutions to help you sustain and grow your organisation’s value & impact.

*Please note - Given the limited spaces, we can only open up a maximum of two places per organisation.

9am Coffee & Networking

9.30am Welcome & Introduction

9.45am All in the Same Boat? – Discussion around common needs & challenges

10.15am Skills Gaps & Shortages – Facilitated discussion around the skills needed by the Board, Leadership, Delivery Teams & Volunteers

10.45am BREAK

11am Barriers to learning – Facilitated discussion about the barriers to learning for the Board, Leadership, Delivery Teams & Volunteers

11.30am "Innovating Together" Session

12pm Summary & Further Networking Time until 12:30pm
