Getting Involved
Anyone can get involved in the network including:

  • Individuals
  • User-led groups and organisations
  • Carer-led groups and organisations
  • Volunteers
  • Voluntary/third sector organisations
  • Social enterprises
  • Public sector organisations
  • For profit businesses


Individuals - Sign up to the network and receive regular information about what is happening around the county. Use the resources of the network to find out what services and support groups are available to you

User/Carer-led groups and organisations - advertise and promote your groups and activities through the network, be included in our on line and paper directory.

Volunteers - get involved with the network, there will be opportunities to be a part of it. Newsletter editorial, Shine ambassadors, website content and moderation and lots more

Public/Private/Third Sector organisations - Register your organisation on the Shine website to advertise your services and support. Be part of a widening network of organisations becoming aware of the importance of mental health in the workplace and society.

Steering Group

The members elect a  steering group to co-ordinate and monitor what the network does.  Steering group includes:
