Involvement Opportunity

workshop to support the development of our Recovery Strategy

Involvement Opportunity

We would like to invite you to take part in a workshop to support the development of our Recovery Strategy.

Within Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LPFT) we have "Promoting Recovery and Independence" as one of our Trust Priorities and to achieve this there is lots of work going on in the organisation. However, we don't always know exactly what is happening in all areas of the Trust and what groups take place in Stamford and what's going on in Louth for example. Therefore, we have set up a group that hopefully looks to bring together like minded people who are eager to understand and promote recovery and bring together all the various projects that are happening in the organisation. We have had two meetings so far and we have identified that there is work taking place in the following areas:

1. Carers support
2. Staff well-being
3. Peers & group work
4. Involvement & engagement
5. Education/Skills development/recovery college
6. Social inclusion
7. Different conversations & approaches

We feel that in order to have a true recovery focus to this group we must work in partnership with those who use our services and their carers so that any decisions or developments made are done in consultation and not isolation.

Therefore, our next meeting is on Wednesday 28th February 9.30am – 1.00pm, Conference Room, Learning & Development Centre, Unit 3,The Reservation, East Road, Sleaford NG34 7BY and it would be great to see and hear from as many people as possible in helping to shape the recovery agenda within LPFT.
