Project Coordinator (East)
Hi, I’m Rachel, I have been with Shine since February 2021. It has been a very busy but exciting few months with
lots of growth and change. I am really proud to be part of a fantastic team working to help individuals connect to local support & services.
I have spent most of my career working to support third sector
delivery within local communities.
Away from work my passions include music, travel, reading, Starbucks
(other coffee shops are available 😊) and lastly but not least spending time with my granddaughter.
My name is Belinda, and I am the newly appointed business manager for Shine, looking after finance, governance, and compliance. My background is in the motor industry and horticulture, with roles ranging from looking after all things finance, assisting and preparing bids for government funding and obtaining ISO Quality standards by creating processes to create a mindset of continual improvement. I love a challenge!
I moved to Lincolnshire with my family 16 years ago and enjoy the outdoors, travelling the world and spending time with family and friends. I love music and live concerts, eating out, socialising and my ideal dinner dates would be Bob Marley, Nelson Mandella and George Michael…
My name is Lucy, and I am the recently appointed Shine Project Coordinator for the East of Lincolnshire. I am a Biomedical Science graduate from the University of Lincoln and halfway through my degree I realised that my passion sat with supporting mental health within the community. Since then, I have worked as a representative for student mental health before moving to Shine to begin this role.
I’m a very active person and love taking advantage of all the wonderful walks in Lincoln, alongside regular dance and squash sessions. I also love cooking, baking and trying out new recipes (both healthy ones and ones loaded with chocolate!) and you will often find me dropping off baked goods to friends and family when I make too much!
My name is Jane and I am a newly appointed Project Coordinator for Shine covering the South of Lincolnshire. I am Social Science Postgraduate from Bishop Grosseteste University where throughout my studies and personal experience, the focus was always to understand the complexities of the communities we live in and the challenges we face. During my career, I have supported mental health in education for both students and their families and historic project development within the corporate sector. With a personal and professional passion in supporting mental health, it is very exciting to now be a part of transforming mental health provision within communities of Lincolnshire.
I am quite a sociable person who is really looking forward to the world opening up again and making those human connections. I enjoy going to the gym, although this is something that is still a little alien to me… I am not a natural gym bunny! I love live music! I cannot wait to enjoy a festival – although sadly for me, it will not be for another year. I also love tea and biscuits!!!
My name is Kerry and I am a newly appointed Project Coordinator for Shine covering the West of Lincolnshire.
I come from a housing background helping customers access support and providing information and advice in relation to tenancy sustainment, finances, mental health and wellbeing. I understand the difficulties that can be faced accessing services; particularly in rural and isolated communities and I am very excited to be part of a project to help shape the service model across Lincolnshire.
I have a passion in helping people and supporting them achieve their aspirations; through my time within customer support I have built relationships with a fantastic network of partners to help achieve positive outcomes for members of our community.
In my spare time you will often find me ferrying a 9 year old around to her many social activities and clubs but ultimately I love quality time with my family; from movie afternoons, long walks with the dog, to my absolute favourite….holidays away from home.
